在感情中用bleed這個字有多種面向
在具象的形容就像歌詞寫到
My heart’s crippled by the vein
That I keep on closing
一顆受傷封閉的心其實渴望愛
但是過於渴望便會盲目付出
就像將血管 (vein)封住而心冷的感覺
讓自己如同冰冷的廢人(crippled )
當一有人cut open打開甚至是「切」開(帶有傷害的意味)
一方面心的血液重新流動帶來熱烈的重生感
但一方面卻也是以受傷作為代價
也因此可以在mv中看到
有類似家暴受虐的情節
這就是這首歌在講的主題
「以為無條件退讓與付出可以得到真愛的扭曲感情觀。」
上面是網路的評論。
一開始會注意到這首歌，是因為「bleeding」這個字眼，
這個字眼搭配上love，有種強烈對比的感覺。
不過我還是不太喜歡把cut用「切」來翻譯，因為我覺得愛情不會這麼的有傷害力。
我倒是覺得cut比較像打開，是給予一種重生的感覺。
但這首歌確實有感動到我的腦袋，也許是因為裡面蠻多用詞都很震撼吧 !
